I. Definition of product
It refers to loans issued by the Bank to eligible enterprise (institution) legal persons, rural community economic organizations, or other organizations that can be deemed as borrowers as required by the state for upgrade and reconstruction of existing buildings in urban and rural areas with the purpose of accelerating the construction of “happy Guangdong Province, beautiful urban and rural areas”. The scope of upgrade and reconstruction includes but is not limited to: repairs and renovations, function expansions, intelligent transformations and green upgrades, etc.
II. Functional characteristic
Beautiful urban and rural loans can be divided into five types according to the application, including:
(I) For repairs and renovations of buildings, it refers to the renovation of the appearance and interior of buildings, or the restoration or replacement of damaged or aging facilities as well as equipment without changing the original structure and function of buildings.
(II) For function expansions, it refers to the re-planning and layout of buildings, which enable buildings to add new functions, support new industry forms or to improve and supplement the original functions of buildings.
(III) For intelligent transformations, it refers to the intelligently transformation of buildings through the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet, the Internet of Things and smart homes, etc. to optimize and improve the use environment of buildings.
(IV) For green upgrades, it refers to the green renovation of buildings through green building materials with green building technology to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection of buildings.
(V) Other upgrades that have been recognized by the Bank to improve the economic value of buildings.
