Rules of full-flight mileage award program

I. Eligibility for participation

1. The Full-Flight Mileage Point Rewards Program is only available to Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank (hereinafter referred to as “the Bank”) Full-Flight card holders, in which the points of the supplementary card are combined into the master card account.

2. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the card holder’s eligibility to participate in the Rewards Program if he/she has any of the following circumstances.  (1) The status of the card held is deactivated, inactive, cancelled, expired and not renewed, or abnormal, etc.

(2) The card holder is suspected of using fraudulent transactions to obtain points.

(3) The card holder violates the Credit Card Charter, the Card Acceptance Agreement, these Rules, or other relevant regulations of the Bank.

  

II. Usage of Full-Flight Mileage

Full-Flight Mileage can be redeemed for

1. The flight mileage of multiple airlines, and can be used in combination with the own membership flight mileage of the airline to redeem air tickets on that airline (use of mileage is subject to the rules and regulations of each airline).

2. DragonPass lounge service points (Please refer to DragonPass website for details of DragonPass lounge services and related airport network).

    

III. Full-Flight Mileage accumulation rules

1. Card holders can accrue full-flight mileage at a minimum rate of RMB 5/1 mileage when signing up for purchases at merchants that are part of points-based spending. The table of accumulation rules is as follows.

2. Card holders can accumulate up to 10,000 (including) Full-Flight Mileages per month, not exceeding the number of Full-Flight Mileages that can be earned on purchases within the card holder’s credit limit. If the credit limit is RMB 10,000, the maximum monthly rebate is 2,000 Full-Flight Mileages (the Bank’s optimal mileage rebate ratio is 5:1).

3. Card holders are eligible to participate in this mileage rebate program by making the first 3 purchases per month at the same merchant.

4. The following items are not counted as Full-Flight Mileages.

(1) If the transaction is unsuccessful due to a return or a purchase order dispute, the amount of the refund will be deducted from the total accumulated Full-Flight Mileages.

(2) Credit card cash advances, transfer transactions, electronic cash-related transactions (including cash advances and micro-payments), and fees (including credit card annual fees, interest, cash advance fees, default fees, over-limit fees, installment fees, and other fees as specified in the contract) are not accrued.

(3) Fees and online transactions related to payments made through withholding are not accrued.

(4) The Bank has the right to withdraw and freeze the Full-Flight Mileages awarded in terms of spending at merchant types such as real estate and automobile, wholesale, government services, public utilities, financial payment, risk restriction, as well as public welfare merchants as defined by the Development and Reform Commission and UnionPay regulations. Public welfare merchants include but are not limited to non-profit medical institutions, education institutions, pension institutions, social welfare institutions, and charitable institutions, etc.

(5) The spending at other non-points based merchants announced by the Bank through official websites or branch announcements, etc.

(6) Full-Flight Mileages will not be counted for purchases made at merchants in the fee low discount calculation category of UnionPay special policy, except for those with special campaigns.

(7) If a merchant fails to install a card acceptance machine in accordance with the regulations of China UnionPay, and the Full-Flight Mileages are calculated for transactions that should not be given Full-Flight Mileages, Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank has the right to deduct the Full-Flight Mileages of the card holder. If the acquirer or merchant does not set up the merchant category correctly according to the China UnionPay regulations, Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank will not be responsible for the Full-Flight Mileages accumulation.

  

IV. Validity of Full-Flight Mileages

Full-Flight Mileage is valid for 36 months. At the end of each month, our system will zero out all mileages that have not been redeemed or not used for 36 months. For example, mileages accrued from purchases made in March 2016 will be cleared on March 31, 2019. Mileages accrued from purchases made in April 2016 will be cleared on April 30, 2019, and so on.

  

V. Rules for the use of Full-Flight Mileages

1. Card holders can redeem Full-Flight Mileage for mileages on any of our partner airlines or DragonPass lounge services, not directly for our regular gifts. However, 1 Full-Flight Mileage can be redeemed for 14 standard points, subject to the Bank’s points mall announcement.

2. When a card holder redeems Full-Flight Mileages for mileages on one of our partner airlines, the minimum starting standard is 6,000 mileages, which must be stacked in increments of 3,000 mileages, i.e., the card holder can redeem 6,000, mileages and 9,000 mileages (and so on), etc. Different airlines have maximum limits on mileage redemptions. See the specific mileage redemption instructions of each airline for details.

3. When a card holder redeems Full-Flight Mileages for DragonPass lounge services, the minimum starting standard is 3,000 mileages, which must be stacked in increments of 3,000 mileages, i.e., the card holder can redeem 3,000 mileages, 6,000, mileages and 9,000 mileages (and so on), etc.

4. The maximum annual redemption limit for card holders is 120,000 (inclusive) airline mileages.

5. Card holders can submit a request for Full-Flight Mileage redemption to the Bank in the following ways.

(1) Login to our Jinmi mart to apply.

(2) Login to our mobile banking to apply.

(3) Call our customer service hotline to apply.

6. Upon receipt of the card holder’s Full-Flight Mileage redemption instruction, the Bank will redeem the available Full-Flight Mileages in the card holder’s name for the specified point merchandise.

(1) If card holders apply for airline mileage redemption, the redeemed airline mileage will be transferred to their designated airline membership account within 2-7 business days after the Bank accepts the application (other people’s airline membership numbers are not supported for the time being). Therefore, card holders are required to ensure that they are registered as airline members of the designated airline prior to redemption.

(2) If card holders apply for redemption of DragonPass lounge service points, clients will receive an SMS notification of successful redemption within 3 business days, and follow the SMS guidelines to use the points.

7. Once submitted, Full-Flight Mileage usage applications cannot be cancelled or changed. The Bank will deduct the corresponding Full-Flight Mileage from the designated Full-Flight Mileage account.

8. Card holders can check the Full-Flight Mileage accrual through monthly credit card statement, our online banking, mobile banking, customer service hotline and other channels.

  

VI. Other notes

1. Once we have redeemed Full-Flight Mileage for airline mileages, the specific services or products to be redeemed for subsequent airline mileages will be requested by the card holder to the airline. Please refer to the rules of each airline for airline mileage redemption criteria, airline mileage validity, and rules on the use of redeemed service or products.

2. The services provided by each airline and any disputes arising therefrom or in connection therewith are the responsibility of the airline.

3. The airlines participating in this mileage program may modify the rules of their member clubs from time to time. The airlines will inform the card holders of the modifications at their own discretion, and the card holders may contact the airlines directly if they have any questions.

4. The Bank reserves the right to cancel the card holder’s right to receive rewards and use the Full-Flight Mileage if the card holder has any of the following circumstances, and reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility against the card holder.

(1) The status of the card held is deactivated, inactive, cancelled, expired and not renewed, or abnormal, etc.

(2) The card holder is suspected of using any form of fraudulent transaction to fraudulently obtain or redeem Full-Flight Mileages (including but not limited to swiping the card for another person’s transaction).

(3) The card holder violates the Credit Card Charter, the Card Acceptance Agreement, these Rules, or other relevant regulations of the Bank.

5. Please note that, if the Bank needs to modify or terminate the provisions of the Rewards Program, it will make an announcement in advance by means of the official website or branch announcement as required. In case of termination or change of the cooperation between the Bank and the airlines, the Bank will announce it separately. The Bank reserves the right to modify, change and cancel this campaign.
